Born from a deep love of literature, arts, and culture, Scribe-a-Licious is more than a store. It's a community. A movement. A space where bookish, creative, and culturally conscious Black women can find products that reflect their brilliance, their voice, and their journey.

Who We Are

Scribe-a-Licious is the retail extension of The Literary Lightworker, a publication dedicated to spotlighting the Black Arts spectrum. Founded by a Black woman who is well-read, creative, and passionate about the arts, this store was created for people like her—and for everyone who believes in the power of storytelling, self-expression, and cultural pride.

We serve literature-loving, art-appreciating Black women and men, as well as anyone who indulges in creativity and culture. Our curated collections are designed to inspire, empower, and celebrate the beauty of Black identity.

The Layla Jewel Collection

We're especially proud to introduce The Layla Jewel Collection for Black Girls—a special line created for young Black girls who are blossoming into confident, creative, and culturally aware women. These products are crafted with love to nurture their brilliance, celebrate their uniqueness, and remind them that they are precious beyond measure.
